So DCDNB has been very quiet lately, despite a lot of drum’n’bass events going on in the city, and some things in the works. But this post was promoted by an email yesterday from Chris A. at Miriam’s Kitchen in DC. I’m not sure why, I guess just because DCDNB has DC in it, this is a music blog, but it sounds like a good cause, and unrelated to dnb or even this event, I signed up a few weeks ago to do volunteer work through Greater DC Cares.
Today is Give To the Max Day, “a one-day fundraising event on November 9, 2011 that will unite local Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC communities to support nonprofits serving the area.” This is happening today. If you can help out, do it.
