DnB room features Dara (Breakbeat Science / Planet Of The Drums - NY), Stress, Slant & Bjoo, and now Locks as well. Future Sound of DC room features Tanc & Tiernan w/ Robert Manos, myself & IllEffect (playing future garage / bass music / dubstep) and Dan Amitai. 18+ to get in, reasonable cover price and a really fun, underground venue!

So far (at 1:20PM on this Tuesday afternoon), the only event I can find event for this week is:
There are a few things next week though, will have to wait till next week to post the links & details (just to be consistent), but Stunna from Chicago is playing a free Wednesday night in DC.
It doesn’t look like any drum’n’bass events are taking place in DC this week, so you might have to drive to the VA suburbs, or hike up to Hagerstown… maybe a good reason to get a couple runs in at Liberty or Whitetail if you ski or snowboard.
This week was a bit hectic. Work has been really busy due to some installation projects being finished this week before classes start next Monday. Plus my birthday was yesterday, so I went out with friends right after work and celebrated hard. And then last week’s interviewees never got back to me with the answers to the Q&A I sent them (giving them a pass seeing as they had a major event on Friday, and they have another this Friday).
So things are a little off course today, but have no worries, we are getting content together. Already have two more Five For Friday interviewees lined up, although one I might hold off on until their major project is completed in about a month’s time. And that all said, here is what’s up over the next few days:

So who knew the one day of work I would have for the next two weeks would be so busy? Did not get a chance to post this until Wednesday morning, but here is where to catch some drum’n’bass in the DC area during the Christmas holiday:
And that looks to be it. Next week has a few big things lined up though, including a New Year’s Eve party featuring Dieselboy playing a 3-hour, multi-genre set.
